For many users, a device is considered “working” if:

Performance no longer matters as much as basic function. Expectations drop without anyone noticing.

2.     People Adjust Instead of Fixing

When devices decline, users change their habits:

• Carry power banks
• Restart devices often
• Avoid certain apps
• Accept delays

The device creates extra steps, but because it still works, the problem gets ignored.
